This 6-day / 5-night Pacaya Samiria expedition is designed for travelers seeking a raw, immersive, and extended Amazon experience. Traveling deep into the Marañón River zone, you will explore remote waterways, primary rainforest, and wildlife corridors rarely reached by short programs.
Unlike lodge-based tours, this is a true jungle expedition. Accommodation is in basic campsites, allowing daily exploration deeper into the reserve. The longer duration significantly increases chances of observing pink and gray river dolphins, caimans, giant river otters, monkeys, macaws, turtles, capybaras, and countless bird species.
Led by experienced local guides, this journey combines river navigation, jungle trekking, wildlife observation, fishing, night excursions, and basic survival knowledge, always respecting the natural rhythms of the rainforest.
