Itinerary

Pacaya Samiria Full-Day Expedition – Wildlife, Dolphins & Primary Jungle Adventure

6:00 AM – Pick-up in Iquitos & Transfer to Nauta

Your guide meets you at your hotel or the airport. Travel by private vehicle to the city of Nauta (approximately 2 hours).

8:00 AM – Boarding the Motorboat

Arrive at the port of Nauta and board a fully equipped motorboat with life jackets and safety equipment. Begin navigating the Marañón River toward the protected areas of Pacaya Samiria.

Morning – Wildlife Navigation Toward Yana Yacu Pucate

Reach the control post of Yana Yacu Pucate, one of the main gateways to the reserve. Continue toward Buenos Aires community, observing birds, river dolphins, and lush riverine jungle.

Midday – Lunch in the Buenos Aires Community

Enjoy a local Amazonian lunch prepared by the community. Learn about their customs and traditional lifestyle.

Early Afternoon – Jungle Walk & Huaylla Lagoon Exploration

A 30-minute jungle walk takes you to Huaylla Lagoon, a paradise for wildlife observation.
