Explore one of the most remote and biodiverse regions of the Peruvian Amazon on this 3-day, 2-night expedition to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, traveling deep into the Marañón River zone. This immersive journey is designed for travelers seeking a true Amazon expedition, far from mass tourism and modern infrastructure.
Starting in Iquitos, you will travel by land and river into the heart of the reserve, staying in basic jungle camps and navigating remote waterways by motorboat and canoe. Over three days, you will experience sunrise and night excursions, spot pink and grey river dolphins, observe caimans, monkeys, capybaras, turtles, birds, and possibly anacondas, and walk through pristine rainforest with towering trees.
