About this tour

Discover one of the most pristine and biodiverse areas of the Peruvian Amazon on this 2-day, 1-night expedition to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, exploring the Marañón River zone—a remote region rich in wildlife, birds, and untouched rainforest.

This program is designed for travelers seeking a true Amazon expedition experience, combining river navigation, jungle walks, wildlife observation, night excursions, and sunrise exploration. Traveling from Iquitos to Nauta by private transport, you will navigate deep into the reserve by motorboat, reaching the Yana Yacu–Pucate control post and the community of Buenos Aires, where your base camp is located.
